STI is pleased to present its 8th Annual Tea Symposium that will be offered in conjunction with the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) 17th Annual Conference and Exhibition. Located in Seattle, Washington for 2005, STI is excited to offer its series of educational programs and newly launched Certification Program in the Evergreen State!
As the Specialty Tea Industry grows, the Specialty Tea Institute and its programs have grown with it. Whether your business is operating a tea room or if you are a retailer, distributor, wholesaler, coffee shop, spa, restaurant or a future entrepreneur, the Tea Symposium provides a range of educational programs and opportunities that you won't want to miss.
The two-day tea programs offer you a choice between the Certification Program, Foundations of Tea: Levels One and Two and a series of intensive educational courses and workshops. Some examples of courses and workshop offered are: "The Healthy Benefits of Tea", "Marketing: Street-Smart Ideas for any Business", "Tea Bags: Those convenient little sachets we love to hate", Sharing the Passion of Tea and more. In addition, "Steeped with Good Health" will be the topic of our "Luncheon Speaker", Joe Simrany, President, Tea Association of USA. Our Tea and Coffee courses can help you assess the advantages of adding Specialty Tea to your regular coffee offerings.
The Symposium will conclude with a networking reception that will be welcomed by all and held at, none other then, the Space Needle. Join industry executives and exhibitors for a couple of drinks and plenty to eat while you network, socialize or just par-"tea".
