Established in 1912, Henry P. Thomson, Inc. is one of the oldest and largest tea importers currently operating in the United States. Our headquarters are located in New Jersey, but we maintain purchasing offices in Hefei, China and Obera, Argentina. For those origins where we do not maintain our own offices, we either correspond directly with the producers or have an exclusive relationship with an exporting agent. While many of our clients prefer to purchase container load quantities delivered directly to their facilities, we also maintain sizable inventories at public warehouses in New Orleans, LA, Elizabeth, NJ and Rotterdam, Netherlands. This allows for smaller deliveries and also enables us to guarantee product quality and availability for our larger customers.
